MULTIVERSE MEDIA PASSES
PLEASE NOTE: Media Pass applications will open in January.
MEDIA PASS GUIDELINES
Only professional members of the press qualify for complimentary membership. That determination will be made solely by Multiverse, and at its discretion, Multiverse reserves the right to offer or restrict Media Passes on a case-by-case basis. Media Passes are available to editorial staff writers employed by a trade publication, mainstream media outlet (newspaper, radio, TV, etc.), or online magazines. Freelance writers, podcasters, photographers, videographers, contributing editors, or bloggers may request press passes if covering for a specific publication or topic-related article.
Members of the press who are working with complimentary credentials are prohibited from soliciting business from sponsors, speakers or attendees. During the convention, press must identify themselves at all times. Press attendees must visibly wear their Multiverse name badge, which will include a Media designation. During sessions and when speaking with or recording or photographing Multiverse attendees, press attendees shall introduce themselves and their reporting publication or affiliation before asking questions or recording audio or video.
After the conference, electronic copies of published articles must be submitted within 30 days to communications@multiversecon.org.
All persons, including members of the press and those attending the convention with complimentary Media Passes, must at all times comply with all Multiverse policies, including the Code of Conduct. Multiverse publishes, adheres to, and enforces a Code of Conduct (the “Code”) which includes clearly defined policies on anti-harassment, non-discrimination, accessibility, weapons, and illegal conduct. Violation of the Code may result in expulsion from the event, a ban on attending future events, revocation of membership, and/or revocation of any or all privileges or offers associated with attending Multiverse in any capacity. The Multiverse Code of Conduct may be reviewed at any time at https://www.multiversecon.org/code-of-conduct/.
